Mbot bumper set

This set was designed by my 9 year old son to help safeguard his mBot from accidental bumps. He is learning to code and to CAD with mBot, which includes creating innovative solutions like this one. Occasionally, he crashes the mBot into baseboards, etc., so we thought it would be fun to give mBot bumpers to protect the forward-facing sensors from unwanted contact. Since the spacing for fastener holes was the same front and back, he decided to make a bumper set with different "license plates." As an added bonus, the bumpers work well as a carrying handle. Print Settings Printer Brand: LulzBot Printer: Mini Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: Standard - Preset Notes: This print was originally made with eSun PLA. Post-Printing Attaching to mBot The short mBot screws were used to attach the bumper, as there were several leftover in the mBot 1.0 kit. The screws can be made to "self tap" the mounting holes by using a separate step instead of trying to hold the part in place and "tap" while attaching to the mBot frame.
