thingiverse
A pair of mounting brackets designed for Asus MB168B monitors allows users to securely attach their display to a wall or other vertical surface using screws. The two included brackets are identical, ensuring stability on both sides. When installed, the monitor can be easily removed by unplugging it and sliding it up and out of the brackets, freeing up valuable desk space while allowing for use of an additional monitor. These mounting brackets were created in AutoDesk Fusion 360 with precise design and functionality in mind. Print Settings: Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer Model: MakerBot Replicator (5th Generation) Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Resolution: .2mm Infill: 25% Notes: To achieve optimal results, use 25% infill and 5 shells when printing. The high infill and shell count reinforces narrow areas of the brackets. These structural areas require extra support to maintain stability. Post-Printing: Support Removal When removing supports from printed parts, it is recommended to grasp them with pliers (as shown in a provided image) and gently pull them out. Attempting to cut or pry the supports out can result in damage to the holding tabs. Use a knife or file to clean up support surfaces as necessary to ensure a secure fit between the brackets and the monitor.
