MB Rep 2 & UM 2 iPhone (time-lapse) mount

Everyone loves watching a 3D print movie in time-lapse mode - it's an amazing way to see the magic of desktop 3D printing unfold right before your eyes! But setting up these shots can be a real pain, especially when tripods won't fit around your desk and getting that close-up shot is tricky. So I designed this compact, articulated, multi-angle mount for easy setup. It's available in both top and front shot options, with a threaded frame clamp mount that makes it simple to attach the camera or phone. I've included two frame mount files - one for the MakerBot Rep 2 and another for the Ultimaker 2 - as well as two phone clamp files compatible with iPhone 5 & 6. Simply slide your phone into its mount, and you're ready to capture stunning shots. You can also print additional joints to give yourself more shot angle options or even shoot with two phones at once! I'm hoping that people will be able to remix this design with other printer mounts and phone mounts to create even more creative possibilities. Important: The iPhone mounts are designed to hold both phones securely, but please make sure your phones are safely secured in their printed mount - we wouldn't want anyone dropping a phone or damaging their Ultimaker 2 glass heated bed! Print Settings: * Rafts: Yes * Supports: No * Resolution: 0.1 for sockets and thread * Infill: High infill When printing, be sure to use high infill for strength and fine resolution to get a nice tight fit. If your printer is over-extruding, the threaded parts may be too tight to work properly. The frame mounts come in two parts - simply fit both parts onto the printer frame and slide them together. Post-Printing: * The ball and sockets will be a snug fit, but they can become loose after a short time. * To fix this issue, I added a snap ring file. Follow the exploded diagrams to install these snap rings into the grooves around the sockets - they may be tight to slide on, but they'll keep the socket closed around the ball and keep the articulated joints secure.
