Maze Cylinder Box - Visible and Hidden Versions
thingiverse
This intriguing maze box is inspired by other impressive labyrinth boxes available on Thingiverse. It boasts a hidden feature where the maze is concealed within the outer cylinder, only revealing itself upon successful maze completion. The design is fully customizable using OpenSCAD, allowing users to specify their maze via an array and adjust box sizes, thicknesses, and "maze nubs" numbers. Each cylinder features six round protrusions for easier manipulation. In the initial release (Rel1), some bugs were fixed in the customizable SCAD files; previously, correct mazes were only generated when nNubs equaled three. To print your unique maze box, simply use the provided STL files. Alternatively, open the .scad files and follow the enclosed instructions to create a personalized maze experience. Test your maze design by rendering testNubRing() for a single ring with maze nubs before committing to printing the full part. This ensures accurate tolerances and perfect maze solving beforehand.
