The Mazda RX-7 is a sports car that was produced by Mazda from 1978–2002 and came in three generations, each using a compact, lightweight rotary engine powered design. \nThe first generation of the RX-7 featured a two-passenger hatchback and a 2+2 hatchback with occasional rear seats available in some markets. \nIt was joined by a second-generation RX-7 that offered both a 2+2 hatchback and a convertible bodystyle. \nThe third-generation RX-7 introduced a sequential twin-turbocharged rotary engine, boosting its power output.
