It's been a while since I printed this model, but depending on your desired surface quality, you can print it either bottom up with supports to secure the top lip or top down without any supports. For my own prints, I used ABS material. If the initial orientation doesn't look quite right, simply rotate the model 90 degrees on its X-axis to make it lie flat. The attached images showcase the part after being vapor smoothed and then sprayed with paint. Despite sitting in a car for at least three years now, these models still retain their great appearance. This particular image is of the driver's side, but you can easily flip it over to get the passenger's side version.
