Mazda MX5 Hotwheels Key Fob

I made a hotwheels key fob for my Mazda MX5 ND. To make this yourself, you'll have to cut a bit of the PCB and modify some parts of the hotwheels car so do this at your own risk. This key fob is also more delicate so be careful. I am not responsible for any damage done to your own key fobs or your hotwheels car. - It uses a CR2032 battery, bigger than the original key fob. The original CR2025's should work fine too. - The wheels roll as you'd expect them to. - The Mazda logo can be embedded inside the undertray component (dependent on your printer's accuracy) - To seal it from the weather, I covered the PCB with black duct tape. - There's a hole in the undertray for the transmitter's LED to shine through - You get slightly less range because of the hotwheel's metal shell - No fasteners are required, everything is held together using clips. Printing: Printed using a Markforged printer, solid infill, onyx material. I haven't tested it with any other printers or materials. Print orientation should be fairly straightforward. After Printing, you'll have to sand down all the wheels, and the interior of the hotwheels car. You'll also have to cut the front wheel's axle so it doesn't interfere with the transponder on the PCB. I superglued the axles in place. I soldered wires onto the PCB for the battery, and soldered the negative wire to the rear wheel's axle. You can also glue the battery enclosure onto the duct tape of your PCB. Depending on your printer's accuracy, you may have to use a vice to shorten the width of the hotwheels shell so that the undertray's side skirts fit up against the shell. If you clamp it too much, you can splay the shell out again by hitting it with a mallet on something cylindrical. I also had mine sprayed to closer match the car's color.
