The goal is to swap out the OEM soft rubber door bushings for a far harder material that stiffens up the vehicle's chassis flex. I've read online that this part sees high-impact, making it ill-suited for 3D printing. Fortunately, my doors haven't fallen off, the vehicle hasn't folded in half like a taco, and the bushing hasn't cracked under stress. I printed mine with Carbon Fiber PLA, but I'm curious to see how a hard TPU/TPE would perform as a material test. Other makers have posted their own prints and experiments using different materials!
