So I had the keyfob to my brand new Mazda CX-9 in my pocket, along with other items, and my hatch open button was triggered multiple times while the garage door was shut. To paint a vivid picture, the final time this happened, I wasn't even aware of it until I went ahead and opened the garage door. Needless to say, one of the metal hinges on my garage door collided violently with my half-open CX-9 hatch, resulting in some painful chipping damage. So, I created this design. As an absolute beginner when it comes to CAD software, I'm counting on anyone who wants to improve it and make it better to take the reins. For now, this works for me, and I hope it saves someone else from going through a similar ordeal.
