Low Poly Model of Soviet MAZ-500 Dump Truck MAZ-500, a rugged Soviet truck, was manufactured at the Minsk Automobile Plant. The first prototype MAZ-500 rolled off the assembly line as early as 1955. The truck's design was groundbreaking, featuring a tilting cabin that was still an uncommon sight in the West. Production of the MAZ-500/500A began in 1963, with full production kicking into gear in 1965 and continuing until 1977. Modernizations took place in 1970 and 1977. The tractor-trailer versions MAZ-514, -515, and -516 remained in production as late as 1981, featuring the same upgrades as their successor, the MAZ-5335. The MAZ-5335 was a facelifted model that appeared in 1977; this version continued to be built until 1990.
