This was designed based on images provided. The slot component was estimated due to missing accurate dimensions. Please let me know if adjustments are needed, but I suspect the exact shape won't be overly critical. Same for thickness, I made an educated guess using a wet finger. Original description from the request in the Things With Actual Uses group: There's a dedicated following of people who use older style Maytag washing machines. The parts are inexpensive and easily accessible, and the machine is a reliable workhorse. Repairs are straightforward, except for one item - The tool used to remove the balancing springs is no longer widely available. I don't believe it's still being manufactured anymore. So you see many videos on YouTube from people who have rigged up various ways to remove those springs. The best approach is to insert about $3 worth of nickels into the springs so they can be removed and replaced without damaging the washing machine. It's a slow and laborious process. The tool makes it easy. Would anyone be interested in designing a tool for this purpose? It only has two parts, and there's a picture of it below. Print Settings: Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 mm Infill: 15% Notes: I suggest using at least three perimeters for strength, instead of spending a lot of filament on high infill. The strength of parts like these is mostly in the outer perimeters, not in the inside.
