Maytag Neptune Detergent Dispenser Assembly

The original Maytag Neptune washer/dryer systems were absolute tanks. Many parts are still available, however, some plastic pieces like the detergent lid and frame (WP22004481, AP4028547) are no longer available. After drawing just the lid that will fit WP22004481, I found that the frame, AP4028547, was also damaged. As a result, I redrew the entire assembly. Print SettingsI ran this in testing at only 10% infill. Surprisingly the frame is extremely rigid with gyroid infill, I would say the percentage is dealer's choice. Supports on, I also enabled support roof for a cleaner surface4 walls to reduce infill time on lipsSuppliesYou will need 2x 3mm x 25mm pins. I found a set of stainless pins on amazon for a reasonable price: [Amazon Link - Uxcel 20pcs Stainless Steel Pins]AssemblySimply slide the pins in the holes leaving about 3.5mm exposed on one sideCarefully bend the piece to align the pins in the detergent dispenser housing. The leading edge of the frame on the hinge side needs to be chamfered slightly for clearance. NotesThis is a pretty big print so a large bed is requiredIt will take around 17 hours to make both parts at onceWhen I printed this model in PLA, the 3mm pins fit well without issue. Based on feedback, if printing in PETG, a 2.5mm pin may be necessary.
