Let's try this thing out and see how it turns out. It still needs some shapekeys to get the wings folding right and a few other tweaks, but I just couldn't wait to give it a shot. As of February 25th, I've been working on getting the mouth parts, elytra, and antennae just right, and I stopped the animation when I got to the elytra.
