Mayan Castle on a Hill Age of Empires 2
thingiverse
I crafted a Mayan Castle from Age of Empires 2 as a gift for my friend, who always chooses to play Mayans or Aztecs. I created the design on FreeCAD, brought it to life with my CR10 printer, and added the finishing touches with oil paint. The terrain base is made from Sio2 self-hardening clay, which I mixed with an extra kilogram of white material for added depth. I then sealed everything in place with a layer of oil paint. To speed up the drying process, I wrapped the entire piece in aluminium foil. After one week, it came off easily without any hassle. If you're planning to replicate this project, I recommend printing the roof section upside down and carefully inserting it into place for a seamless finish.
