MAY the 4TH be with you glow stick necklace
thingiverse
I created these for a Relay for Life event in my town this weekend, which just so happens to be May the 4th and Star Wars themed. They're designed to fit a bracelet-style glow stick with a hole that makes them perfect for wearing as a necklace or swinging around like a pro in the dark. They work best with the "mini" style glow sticks like these Amazon ones: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PPK2XT3/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. These lightsabers are a press fit, so you can easily swap them out when the glow stops. I tried to force one out by swinging it hard, but they won't budge - not even with some serious "science" behind it! Each file is designed for a single lightsaber and takes about 15-20 minutes to print per piece. I recommend using a 5 mm raft or brim because of their small footprint, but printing a dozen or so at a time worked out well for me. I used the same raft and was able to walk away from the printer for an hour without having to hover over it - only one failed on me, and that was due to junk filament. Left to right in the picture, you'll see: * Saberflared * Saberstraightgrip * Highgripsaber * Doublesaber
