I redesigned the MaxMicron extruder to accommodate flexible filament, making it a more reliable option for printing with this material type. To achieve this, I reduced the space between the gear and motor mount, thereby minimizing the likelihood of the filament getting tangled or taking an incorrect path. The original design still allows for using the part that presses the filament onto the gear, eliminating the need for any modifications. On July 31st, 2016, I released an updated version of this extruder with a small nose attachment.
