Maximat EMCO 7 gear
thingiverse
This is a pre-release version of the replacement gear for a Maximat/EMCO 7" lathe. The image shows the original gear alongside the printed gear temporarily fitted. To ensure proper fitment, the new gear needed to be precisely trimmed and slightly expanded to accommodate the three-dot bearing holder. By doing so, the bearing can be securely pressed in via vice, resulting in a seamless seat. Crafted with FreeCAD's precision engineering tools and g-code generated using slic3r, this replacement gear was printed on an Ender 5. With some minor adjustments post-printing, this new gear serves as a near-flawless drop-in replacement.
