Maxilla and mandible after Bijaw surgery
grabcad
I had to reduce the size of file to upload it, hence lower quality. (In Blender>import stl>decimate) Original stl after exporting from Meshmixer was 185mb. 1. Import your DICOM file in Slicer3d. 2. Select the 3d file. And in volume rendering module select the preset and adjust shift to desired value. (You might lose some details which you can paint later or get some noise which you can erase later, so try to get as close as possible to retaining as much as possible.)3. Crop the model with ROI if needed crop module.4. Switch to segmentation module and add the segment. Once added adjust threshold till it covers most of the model. (Once again you might lose details/gain some noise, which you will have to paint/erase)5. Paint/erase if needed.6. Export the stl.7. Import the stl in Meshmixer and clean up the model.8. Export stl and you can now print the 3d model. Will upload the skull soon.If you are interested in printing this file, let me know I can send pre-compressed file.
