Max's Antler (from How the Grinch Stole Christmas)

thingiverse

This design draws inspiration from the iconic antler created by the Grinch for Max in the classic 1960s TV special "How the Grinch Stole Christmas." The antler is specifically designed to be printed with a hollow interior (zero percent infill) and consists of two parts that are secured together using glue. To ensure stability, all parts should be printed with supports that make contact only with the build plate. The base is connected to the antler via two #6 x 1/2" flat head screws, which are also glued in place. While any hole can serve as a potential alignment point, the intention was for the forward holes to provide the best fit. A tennis shoe lace was used as the strap, with its ends looped and threaded downward through the central slots. Update November 26, 2018 - A one-piece version of this model has been added.
