Strategically planned as part of the General Resettlement of Indians during the 1570s, this colonial town showcases a deliberate design. Under the direction of Steve Wernke, an anthropologist from Vanderbilt University, meticulous mapping and excavations are carried out to uncover the secrets hidden beneath Mawchu Llacta's surface.
