Mavic tracker adapter

The goal was to find a way to attach a tracker with minimal interference to both compasses. I tried several positions and their effects on compass readings. Directly above the battery appears to be an ideal location. The design should allow for easy mounting or removal due to packing constraints. A backpack adapter seemed like a good idea - simply snap it onto the battery, then secure the tracker using velcro. When switched on/off, the Mavic's power can still be controlled while mounted, but the battery LEDs remain invisible. Upon deciding to upload my design to Thingiverse, I discovered that pcardon had already created a similar concept, perhaps we share a similar vision. Printer Settings Printer: Self-made Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2 - 0.3 mm Infill: 100% Notes: Printed with PLA, which provides excellent stiffness and elasticity for this item. Enable skirt for bed adhesion. Post-Printing After printing, verify that the holes align properly with the battery release knob. Exact alignment depends on printer characteristics; manual adjustments may be necessary if not a perfect fit.
