I need a hybrid launch system that combines SAFE Hand or Ground capabilities with both Hand and Ground Landing features. This versatile design allows you to use either the landing gear to launch or land, or just the Base plate (or grab handle) for added flexibility. I want my hands free from propellers while still being able to safely land on the ground if signal loss occurs or if I decide the terrain is clear enough for a safe touchdown. The landing gear is symmetrical on both sides, requiring only one file to create it. It's a press fit design, but gluing it in place may be safer. You might need to file down the front Mavic chassis dimple on the base plate due to its tight tolerance. I used an emery board for this purpose as I didn't feel like redesigning the entire component. To ensure proper alignment and support for the landing gear, utilize the Cocoon feature. This design keeps me safe while being easy to remove when attaching or detaching it from the quadcopter.
