Mavic Pro Gimbal Holder
thingiverse
I designed a gimbal holder that's faster and simpler to use than the stock DJI one, eliminating the need to align tiny tabs with the gimbal's back. A pull tab made from a milk bottle top serves as a reminder to remove it before flying. Update: I created a shorter version (Mavic_GimbalHolder v30_Short-for-Filters) for those using filters, allowing them to keep their filter on while printing. For non-filter users, the original version (Mavic_Gimbal_Holder_v27) is recommended due to its full camera unit cradle providing better protection. Print Settings: Printer Brand: Prusa Printer: Prusa Mk2 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Notes: Ensure the part lies flat on its back before slicing, and supports were added for the slightly angled elevated ledge. Post-Printing: Some Sanding Required The supports didn't come off cleanly, requiring sanding to smooth it out. The side edges might also need touch-up sanding.
