Mavic Pro Cree Strobon Mount
thingiverse
I design and build a strobon holder that consists of three parts: one left mount, one right mount, and a single holder. All components share the same design, requiring only four prints in total. To prevent accidental removal, I include a small key for welding or a thin strip of double-sided tape to secure it in place. When printing, I use PLA for the middle components and transparent PLA for the holder. This combination ensures a strong bond between parts. Post-printing, I apply heat using a solder iron to fuse the three pieces together, creating an unbreakable joint. Despite my lack of fine motor skills, this technique works remarkably well. To assemble the strobon holder, place the central holder within the clamp part and secure it in place using a hot solder iron or a similar tool.
