Mavic Pro Cree Strobon Mount V3
thingiverse
I designed a new version of my Mavic Pro Cree strobon Mount, which prints in PLA. The Strobon fits snugly inside the whole mount. For added security, a slot is provided to attach a tie wrap, ensuring it doesn't fall out, but be aware that it's a tight fit. At the bottom, a hole allows for easy removal of the strobon with a small screwdriver on the plate, taking care not to puncture the Lipo. To turn on the strobon, either attach it before placing it in position or use a small screwdriver to press against the button. I've uploaded the 123D design files so others can modify them if needed, as each Cree strobon has a slightly different fit. The top of the mount allows for some flexibility and I've managed to avoid breaking any by fitting them carefully. The clamp is designed to be a tight fit, with the smaller part facing upwards on the arm and bending it slightly to secure it in place. This worked well on my Mavic, as shown in the photos. However, I noticed that the back arms are not square; the front is slightly narrower than the top or bottom. Additionally, the top and bottom have a slight slope.
