Mavic 2 Zoom Lens Cover Removal tool

I faced significant challenges removing the lens cover on my Mavic 2 Zoom. The factory had tightened it excessively, making it virtually impossible to remove with your hands without putting the gimbal at risk. To use ND/PL filters during filming on extremely bright days, I needed to be able to take off the lens cover. After researching online forums, I discovered that DJI might have a specialized tool for this issue, but I couldn't locate it. So, I designed and created my own solution. To enhance my grip on the lens, I printed an inner ring out of Flex material (such as Ninja Flex), which provided better traction. This inner ring fits snugly within a clamping tool made from standard PLA. I also added a cloth insert between the ring and the lens to increase friction since it was still slipping. With some careful effort, I successfully removed the lens cover. If you decide to print both components in PLA, be cautious not to apply excessive force on the lens cover, as PLA can be quite stiff.
