Mavic 2 Pro Filter Holder

This re-design of the filter holder referenced above has been created to provide a better solution for holding the Ultimaxx filters used with my Mavic 2 Pro Hasselblad camera. The original design was a good start, but it proved too small to accommodate these specific filters, so I developed an entirely new concept from scratch using Fusion 360. I've included the f3d file which is parameter driven, allowing you to easily adjust the size parameters to fit your unique filter exterior dimensions if they differ from my Ultimaxx filters. The interior dimensions of this holder (the exterior dimensions of the filter bezel) as defined in the STL file are 31.65 x 28.43 x 2.5 mm. I've also added additional "handles" to make it easier to grip and manipulate the tool while attaching or removing the filter. In contrast to the original design, this one does not feature a large central hole which often resulted in fingerprints on the filter glass. Although you'll need to carefully lift out the filter at its edge with your fingernail when removing it, I believe the benefit of avoiding fingerprints is well worth this minor inconvenience. It's interesting to note that many users have complained about the difficulty of attaching and detaching these filters, but it seems that a significant number may be unaware of one crucial detail: there is a single "fat tab" on the filter which must be inserted into the lower right corner of the lens when viewed from the front. This means you cannot simply press the filter onto the tool upside-down. By using this redesigned tool and placing the filter correctly, attaching and detaching filters becomes a straightforward process.
