The Jochi Khan Mausoleum stands proudly along the upper northern coast of the Kengir river, built between 1228 and 1230 during the Mongol era's reign. As the first mausoleum in modern-day Zhezkazgan's territory, it boasts a commanding presence atop its hillside location. Gazing down from this vantage point reveals a vast, sweeping plain that stretches across the Kengir River valley below.
