The Kar98k was a bolt-action rifle designed by Nazi Germany in 1935, used extensively throughout World War II. Adopted by the Wehrmacht as their standard infantry rifle, it quickly proved itself on the battlefield. After the war, many of these rifles fell into Soviet hands and were subsequently distributed to various military forces worldwide, leading to its continued use in subsequent conflicts. Based heavily on its Mauser 98 predecessor, the Kar98k boasted improved precision and sleek design, making it a formidable short carbine. Its innovative design allowed for easy mounting of telescopic sights and facilitated rapid bolt action. Chambered in 7.92x56 Gewehr, this rifle fed from a 5-round magazine and boasted an impressive effective range of 500 meters or 1000 meters when equipped with a high-powered scope. 3D models of the Kar98k were created using Blender, consisting of 3871 polygons and 7 material textures. These models can be easily exported in various formats, including .fbx, .obj, and .stl.
