Mauler 180 - FPV Quadcopter w/ Threaded Camera Mount
thingiverse
I wanted to design my own quadcopter for fun and came up with something that's pretty cool. It's not perfect, but it's strong, light, and flies great. The frame is 180mm and can take 1306 and 1806 motors, along with 4" props (the 220X version will be done soon). To protect the motors a bit, I extended the ends of the arms slightly. The camera bracket has M3 holes to eliminate the need for front standoffs and works with the HS1177 camera. It's 30mm tall, so you'll need 6 - 30mm standoffs. Both the frame and top plate have beveled edges, but I'll post another version without them for those who want it. The bottom frame weighs 66.4 grams when printed with 70% infill. The top plate weighs 15 grams when printed with 50% infill. The camera bracket weighs 5.9 grams when printed with 30% infill. Together, the three parts weigh 87.3 grams. Without a battery, the AUW (with the electronics) is 272.1 grams. I used an XRacer F303 Flight Controller, Armattan Simple PDB, Pololu 5v regulator, Little Bee 20a ESCs, DYS BX1806-2300kv motors, LemonRx Spektrum Satellite Rx, Aomway 200mw VTx, HobbyKing E-OSD, and HS1177 FPV camera. Suggested batteries are between 1000mAh and 1500mAh. Let me know what you think. Thanks!
