Maui Mr Potato Head

I designed this so that I could build on my existing collection of Disney Mr. Potatohead parts that Disney no longer prints. The pieces are built to fit with a normal Potatohead body. The only pieces that need some kind of construction is the necklace. I used a line of normal PLA that I slid the shark teeth and beads onto. Then glued the necklace end pieces to the ends. The main center tooth has a post that fits in the nose hole. The ends fit into the ears underneath the hair. Each piece was hand designed from the bottom up. When I printed these I used no filler, and made each piece solid. the Arms needed to be hand drawn, so its a rough, but even not perfect, they look great for a kids toys. I included a internet available drawing of Maui Tattoos that I used as my guide. I only did the arms, but one could do the feet. I drew the tattoos on the arms and then sprayed clear acrylic to protect them. some painting may be required for the eyes of Maui's face. I enjoyed building this project myself, so I hope you (and the kids they are printed for) enjoy them.
