Matthew stopped by the Big Bang Fair and took a ride through our 3D scanning rig, which features an impressive array of 96 DSLR cameras that snap a total of 1.8 Giga pixels worth of data with every scan. We teamed up with our buddies at CapturingReality.com to process the data - their software expertly analyzes each image, pinpointing unique points on each one before plotting them in 3D space if they appear more than once in multiple images.
