I'm always on the lookout for a better spool filament clip for MatterHackers 1.75mm filament. Others work just fine, but I wanted something that stands out from the crowd. This one has got it going on - it snaps into place and stays put, no matter how long you print. You can pop it on and leave it alone, knowing it won't snag your filament. To get the most out of this clip, simply remove any excess filament from the hotend, then give it a quick clip at the end (don't try to squeeze it in without). Poke it into place with care - no need to move the clip, just let it snap on. Give it some extra room to breathe so it doesn't slip out by accident. If your print keeps toppling over, tweak the skirt distance setting until you get a stable surface area. This baby is built for action, but it can use a little help staying upright. Don't forget to clean up any flash from inside the clip, especially around the filament clamp - this is key to getting it working like a charm. A little heat bed magic can leave your clip feeling like new.
