MatterControl Touch Bracket
thingiverse
I now have an enclosure on a TAZ 6 machine. I designed a bracket to hang my Touch screen outside of the enclosure, pointing down at the print bed so I can take advantage of the online monitoring features available. One thing I dislike about the Touch is the cables connected to it. I use a USB adapter with a very fragile port and a short power cord. To address this issue, I added a bracket in the back to secure the USB adapter and provide some stress relief on the micro USB port. Initially, I built this at a 45-degree angle, but that proved not suitable for my application. Instead, I ended up with a 60-degree angle to point the camera directly at the center of the build plate. I'm including both files - one might work better for someone else. The 60-degree version has end stops on the tablet holder to prevent it from sliding sideways. It seems to work well and could probably be used as a table mount if you remove the bolt-through flaps. Feel free to modify as needed.
