My friend recently brought me a Mattel Ghost Trap that was missing one crucial part - the red rod and the round knob on the front were nowhere to be found. I carefully examined the existing components and realized that I could replicate them to get the trap up and running again. I copied the existing knob and red rod, which turned out to be a perfect fit. The new parts worked seamlessly with the tapered hex pins on the side of the trap and the unique circle-cross press fit boss on the front.
