Matt Jefferies Star Trek Concept

I'm excited to explore this study model based on one of Matt Jefferies' original Star Trek TOS Enterprise concepts - specifically this iconic design that really caught my eye. I wanted to quickly create a 3D model to assess its potential as a scale model project. After generating the 3D model, I'm still unsure if I'm fully satisfied with how the forms translate into three-dimensional space. From one angle, it's technically correct to the concept art and looks great, but from other angles, it appears clunky and awkward. I don't want to add too many details or modify too many lines and stray too far from the original concept, but it needs a bit more impact. Perhaps a smaller sphere and larger secondary hull would give it a better balance of proportions? Or maybe longer nacelles would improve its overall appearance? One detail that does work well is how the small antenna mimic the sketchy lines found in the concept art.
