This Dot Matrix-style LED display component boasts individual LED on/off polygons, housing packaging, and electrical pins. It accurately replicates real-life matrix panel displays and comes with base textures in PSD format for easy manipulation. Compatible with popular modeling tools like 3DS Max, Maya, or Blender, it can also be directly used in gaming engines supporting FBX files. The package is editable in 3D Studio Max, exportable as an FBX file to other programs, and programmatically interactable via third-party components. However, programming isn't necessary for use. LEDs are modeled as named polygons for on/off states, with package elements removable or editable in any 3D authoring software. Optimized for gaming while maintaining visual fidelity, it includes UVW Texture and regular textures for pins, LED segments, case, and display face. Assigned textures for lit and unlit LEDs, effectively named parts for ease of reference or reworking, and included PSD files with named layers and text information. Featuring plain colored emissive and non-emissive LED segments that can be customized with UV textures, all LED parts are named and grouped into a simple hierarchy. Accurately built to scale, the LEDs are geometrically modeled after classic 1980s segment shapes while maintaining a balance between performance and fidelity upon importing into popular 3D engines like Unity 5 or Unreal Engine 4. The model is provided in Autodesk 3DS Max 2017 (.max), FBX (.fbx), and Blender (.blender) v2.8 file formats, with textures relative to .max and .fbx files for easy importing into gaming and 3D authoring engines.
