Maths inspired trophy [3D printing industry awards]

myminifactory

This design was crafted using parametric design within Rhino/Grasshopper. Its foundation is a hexagonal fractal structure, with Voronoi patterns applied to each face. The base's top features a gutter union for attaching the pine-like trophy crown. Nature-inspired, the top resembles a pine tree. A lattice structure has been incorporated into the base's top, ensuring the gutter union remains lightweight. When combined, these elements push 3D printing boundaries and showcase the limitless possibilities of Additive Manufacturing technologies. Two STL format models are provided: TOP and BASE.
