Mathematical Art (Fractal Art): Menger Sponge Puzzle
thingiverse
I'm designing a fun set of puzzles for my advisor Christopher Rycroft's upcoming library talk on fractals. His goal is to share math and science concepts with the public in an engaging and educational way. To demonstrate these ideas, I've created a demo that showcases fractal properties like self-similarity and simple rules. This particular puzzle is based on the Menger Sponge, which can be found online at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Menger_sponge. When assembled correctly, it forms a larger Menger Sponge!
