Math Wheel
thingiverse
UPDATE: A few people are experiencing issues where they're not getting sizing when pulling into the slicer. I'm puzzled about why this might be happening. If anyone has any ideas, please share them with me. I exported the STLs from Fusion exactly as I printed them myself, without any resizing needed. Take a look at the images to get your scale. UPDATE: I've added an extended shaft that can accommodate 10 wheels for more complex math problems. I designed this based on a spinner that I liked but didn't like because it required a PVC tube to complete the build. I also wanted to ensure there was a tactile feel when spinning the wheels. This is for my almost-4-year-old son, so it's both an educational piece and a fidget toy. I left no clearance on my cap, resulting in a snug fit. If yours is loose, adding a little glue will keep it in place. Printing: No supports are required; just make sure the shaft tab on the wheels is on the bed. I printed these on an Ender 3 using a CHEP profile with good results.
