Math Number Aligner

Math Number Aligner

thingiverse

This is a low-tech support for young students who struggle with proper number alignment and early computation due to visual perceptual or fine motor difficulties. The aligner is placed on the notebook while the ruler is thread through and hooked onto either the top or bottom of the notebook to ensure the aligner glides up and down as needed. Begin writing the math problem on the second row down to provide space for carryover. Follow the place value indicators to guide your alignment. The aligner may also be rotated to allow for placement on either the right or left section of the paper. This is the first draft so any feedback or modifications are most welcome. Also adding the Tinkcad link here should you want to alter the spacing and sizing on your own: https://www.tinkercad.com/things/fHX4K6914TA
