Material Test Ball
thingiverse
I designed a basic ball to print with a 0.35mm nozzle, perfect for stress testing materials. My test prints turned out great at medium resolution with PLA, and it's surprisingly bouncy, which has been a fun discovery. To create the best possible print: Use a layer height of 0.22 mm and print at a moderate speed. Set your infill to 80% and leave the default extrusion width at 0.35 mm. Keep support structures as thin as one nozzle width for easy removal.
