Material Strength Test Sample

In a comparison test, Taulman 645 Nylon appears to be stronger than trimmer line by at most 9.7%, as indicated in limited sample points. The tester used an Ohaus laboratory scale to weigh the samples and employed carabiners for testing strength. The second test ensured closely matched weights through control of extrusion multiplier, with T645 emerging victorious. A third test involved a tug-of-war, but results were not statistically valid due to only one sample of each material. Further tests are planned, including comparing Taulman 645 Nylon's strength to other materials such as Polycarbonate, Polymax, PLA-PHA, PETG, Tritan, XT, and ABS.
