This is a test piece that I use to demonstrate the distinct material properties of ABS, PLA, PETG, TPU, etc. It's essentially a wave spring with handles at each end, but when printed in different 3D printing materials, it becomes strikingly clear which blends are capable of stretching and twisting while others remain brittle. This makes it an invaluable tool for selecting the ideal material for a print project.
