A custom mount/holder for the Matek M8Q-5883 on GEP-AX5 (also compatible with AX4, AX6) Airbus frames is available. To use this holder, you'll need to remove your GoPro camera - I switched to a RunCam Split, which wasn't an issue for me. By placing the GPS/magnetometer unit in the front position, it moves further away from VTX components at the rear. Simply undo the top two screws on the frame, apply two-sided foam adhesive underneath the GPS unit, and then secure it with this holder. Replace the screws afterward. You can slightly adjust the antenna angle if your quad tilts a lot (I don't), but directing it upward is likely optimal for position-hold and horizon-mode flight. Printing with supports is recommended, along with transparent filament to enhance LED visibility.
