Matchbox Train - Toy Locomotive
thingiverse
My favorite Matchbox car is a train, a true masterpiece of miniature engineering. The one that stands out to me is my Matchbox train No.47 Steam Loco GWR, a Pannier Tank Locomotive from 1979, its sleek design and robust build making it a standout among the rest. To give it some extra realism, I opted for 0.85mm x 30mm iron wire for the axles, carefully crafting each one to ensure perfect precision. When printing the top and bottom, I made sure to use support material to prevent any potential warping or damage. And as an added bonus, I recently gave the chassis a much-needed upgrade, beefing it up with some extra reinforcement - now it's even sturdier than before!
