Matchbox Elevator
thingiverse
My kid got a garage that lacked an elevator. I wondered what would be the fun in designing one! Actually, it took several months to come up with a decent construction and build it. As of today, the second version is up and running, featuring upgraded parts - the main rod and elevator car were printed from PETG. I've uploaded images of both v1 and v2 - assembling this requires some fishing line. I had an image ready for v2's pre-assembly. For v2, I worked with eight strands simultaneously. Only the stl files for v2 are available online. I doubt anyone would want to simply print this. However, using the scad file, it could be adapted to a different car garage.
