Obsidian knife crafted with precision. Its volcanic glass-like texture enables sharp edges capable of serving multiple purposes, including domestic, artisanal and defensive uses. Originating from Rapa Nui, also known as Easter Island, this valuable item was generously donated to our museum by Sebastian Englert in 1948. The object was meticulously scanned by Museo Nacional de Historia Natural de Chile for preservation and further study.
