MAT - The Space Traveler

I'm thrilled to join this Meet Mat 2 Contest after missing out on Meet Mat 1. I'm feeling very fortunate to be a part of this exciting event. The new Substance Painter is an absolute game-changer, especially with its tessellation feature that allows me to work with the height channel in a super flexible way. To make things even more interesting, I've set myself a small challenge: I won't use anything from outside the Substance standard shelf except for one custom color profile, which I'll be using later for rendering. My idea for MAT is that he's an adventurous space traveler who loves to jump through space and explore the universe. Unfortunately, some of his journeys have been fraught with danger, resulting in him losing a limb or two. However, his new arm is now strong enough to help him navigate even the most treacherous terrain. The device on MAT's right arm is designed for selecting destinations, and he can also use it to check the time - how convenient! I'm not entirely satisfied with the displacement quality in my render, so I've shared some higher-quality versions on ArtStation: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/JlY8k0.
