For our school show, I was asked to create a pirate ship stage set. Here's the rough design and dimensions we'll need: The ship itself will be about 20 feet long and 10 feet wide. It will have three levels: the main deck, the upper deck, and the lower hold. The main deck will have a large mast in the center with a crow's nest on top. There will also be two smaller masts on either side of the ship. The deck itself will be made up of wooden planks that are about 2 inches thick. The upper deck will be slightly smaller than the main deck and will have a few windows to let in some light. It will also have a small cabin or room for the captain. The lower hold is where all the treasure will be stored. It's a large, dark space with high ceilings and stone walls.
